My 2024 Year in Books

I read (and listened) to a total of 67 books in 2024! Here's the stats from everything, courtesy of The StoryGraph and links to purchase.

BOOK RECAP

In 2024, I really focused on whittling down my TBR list! But I will say that it was almost evenly split between books published in 2024 and those that were trapped in my TBR.

I read a lot of debuts, and my main favorite genre was Romance, with LGBT fiction coming up in second. Of course, there's overlap between Romance and LGBT.

I'm also not going to give any actual reviews on these. A successful read to me can be a book I had fun reading, whether or not people on GoodReads unanimously like or dislike a book.

We'll be going off vibes over here.

My favorite books (in no particular order) were:

The Truth According to Ember by Danica Nava

Whenever You're Ready by Rachel Ruyna Katz

Sing Me to Sleep by Gabi Burton

This Ravenous Fate by Hayley Dennings

It's A Privilege Just to Be Here by Emma Sasaki

House of Hunger by Alexis Henderson

Fairly certain that my interests won't stray much in 2025, but who knows?! I'll hold out hope that some historical fiction catches my eye.
